5] What to do NEXT?
Well, now you are done with your own eAthena Server RO Ragnarok Online RO Private Server, Ragnarok Online Control Panel and Ragnarok Online Web Server. As for now, you need to download KRO [Korean Ragnarok Online Installation] , a Full Data Folder and a workable Ragnarok Exe for reading your sclientinfo in the data folder. Let me explain more about the sclientinfo. After you have downloaded the data folder from the following link below, extract it to your main ragnarok directory, usually C:\Local Disk\Program Files\Gravity\ . Search for a file name sclientinfo inside the data folder, right click on it and click edit. You can now change the server name to whatever server name you like and the ip address to your computer lan ip.(Please note that this sclientinfo only works for you, or any of your family members which lans to your computer. For the others, they have to use the no-ip Ip Address which you have registered eariler on.

well you can place KRO in any directory you like but you must remeber that KRO is the files you need to launch ragnarok online. As for ragnarok exe, you need a data folder. Just place the Ragnarok Exe and data folder in your KRO main folder which should be your C:\Local Disk\Program Files\Gravity\RO\ directory. and remeber to change your sclientinfo ip to your lan ip. (right click and click edit to open). To search for your lan ip, Go to Control Panel, Network Connections,Local Area Network, click on support tab and the IP Address is your lan ip. Hope this help.

hmm, you can place eathena in any folder you want, this is the folder for starting your server. you can start your server by opening the following files,
1] login-server_sql
2] char-server_sql
3] map-server_sql

all you have to do for ur no-ip connection is, create a no-ip account, download the software and install it. Then, create a new host by going to the http://www.no-ip.com .Give ur new host a name something like, testro.no-ip.info .
i cant find the sclient. cos i think i patched to the new RO

you can find your sclient inside your data folder. sclientinfo in full name. remeber, right click to edit it and change the ip address to your lan ip for yourself to connect to the server, and no no-ip address for others to login. as for port, if ur using a modem, use 6900. use 6901 if ur using a router and portfoward it as well as 5121,6121.

hmmmm.... help me pls i am having a problem in installing zend optimizer 3.3.3 when i browse C:\Program Files\Abyss Web Server\htdocs and install it. my pc restarts... and i can't extract Lrlcp.. what should be the problem... please help me this is my dream to have my own private server ^_^ ty in advance....
ok i asumme you didnt download and install 7Z. Please download it from the above link and install it. You should be able to extract LRLCP after this. And i guess the zend optimizer you've downloaded has a error, try redownloading it again from the following reference links and try again.
As for registering username by using _M or _F, please edit this line in login_athena:

ok i got the server running nothing is wrong one thing i cant find is altho

there are no erros in the text i belive might be btu no ip errors or ports

the KRO version or ExE you are using might not be the latest one. And i think you have used the latest eathena svn or txt with the not latest KRO version thats why you couldn'nt create any character. Try using the latest KRO and see if it solves the problem.

the other computer also need kro to launch ragnarok online. And remeber to change the sclientinfo in the data folder for the other computer you are trying to lan with to your no-ip address or your modem ip. As for xSekireiGodx, i think ur map server crashed somehow, try to search for the error and then fix it.

no you dont need to open abyss server to play, abyss server is for hosting your control panel online only. which .bat file do you mean? you have to unzip every single zipped file.
The .bat file I mean is the eAthena mapserv-sql.bat, and the others (logserver-sql.bat &charserv-sql). They all crash when i open them... I have also unzipped all my files.

this page is the last step you have to follow. You still have to start from step 1 to step 5 in order to create your ragnarok private server. And you said that there is no monsters or npcs. i guess you had close the mobs stuffs. As for npc, you might have delete the npc folder or something. Try replacing the npc folder from ur eAthena SVN again.

But how did I close it when I dont even know how to open it. I'm guessing they should be on by default but they aren't showing when I set everything up using the guide.
I found out what the problem was. Apparently I didn't have the latest kROsakexe.exe file. Which didn't enable me to see the monsters and npc's. He links it in the first step. http://www.sacredangelro.com/svn there it is if your to lazy to go back. But look for the latest kRosakexe.exe file and just put it in the RO folder and play it. Thats all.. Also copy the files in the folder to. Yay

well, your map server probably crashed , or you've entered the wrong map ip or port. Your eAthena Svn must be able to support the ExE you are using.

THE SOLUTION
I have another solution to the access denied when you run the runserver-sql. Anyway lets begin. Run the runserver-sql and if you look at the Charserv-sql it says [Status]: set login_server_id : ragnarok. Same with the pw,db and the char server. So here's the solution. Go into the SQL admin and go to the user tab. Click on ragnarok and if you look to the right side, it gives you the option to change the user name and password. Leave the user name alone and change the password to ragnarok. Then click apply. Then click on root. Right-click it and click show host in user list. Then localhost will pop out. Click that and again gives you the option you change username and pass. Change the pass to ragnarok. Leave the user name alone. From now on when you use SQL, your password will now be ragnarok. Now run the runserver-sql and the access denied should be gone. Some of you may ask. Why ragnarok? can I change it to something else? I don't know. Well hope this long boring ass tut helped for some of you. Thumbs up for me! =D

I keep getting a gravity error when I try to open the client, how do I fix it?
My Ro server is up and running fine, no problems there. Where I am stuck is how exactly do other people see/access/connect to my private server online.
Do they need additional files apart from the KRo client?
I'm assuming they will need some sort of custom patch and client info containing my IP.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I can launch my server to the point where I pick the server to play but when I try to go to the next screen (the log in screen) I get a gravity error. Do you have a fix for that?
I had that same issue, it was due to the fact I was using an iRO client instead of the suggested kRO client.
To use a different client you have to edit the sclientinfo file. The easiest and simplest thing to do is to download the latest kRO client(1.3Gb).
I have the latest version.
Everything is in order for files that was stated in the guide and I even added a custom grf file so I have my grf and the sdata along with the most current sakray.
I still get the Gravity Error when I try to go tot he log in screen.
Is there any other possible problem or solution?

I have my server set up but I cant seem to log in.
I set up my log in accounts in the Mysql browser and I dont know if I need to do anything else.
It just keeps saying "Failed to Connect".
Anyone have a fix?
I received that same "failed to connect" message when I tried to run my server while my net was connected through my wireless router.
Soon as I turned the router off and connected the modem straight into my PC the server worked.
Hope this helps.

No, I changed the IPs every time I tried another way to match my personal IP.
The only error I've gotten since I tried starting the server is the Gravity error when I go to the log in screen from the Server select screen.

@nikko: Use your "accountid:20000000" account to log in, and not your root "accountid:1" account to log in. As for how to change the rates, go to conf/battle/player.conf and look for the line max_parameter:
@kimvoi: Open MySQL Administrator. Go to User Administration. Make sure both "TestRO" and "ragnarok" accounts have assigned schema privileges for "log", "ragnarok" and "testro"
@Alexander: If you are getting the error message, it's probably because a)Something is bugged in your map_serv, or b)you are not updated to the latest patch.

I have a question, when I'm downloading the 7Z stuff, do I need to download all of the thing? And where do I put them all? Also, I keep on getting this error, every time I open up the RagnarokExe thing, as seen on the screen shot, I get this error any help please? And the only thing I change IP to my IP is when I open up the sdata.grf correct? From there on what should I do so that other people can play it and such?

hey I did everything on this guide, and everything runs smoothly except that when i TRY to connect it says Failed to connect to server.
